Tirgan Iranian Festival

Tirgan was the largest Iranian Festival outside of Iran at Toronto's very own Harbourfront July 17-20. Music, art, dance, performance -- I had never seen anything like it. I'm ashamed to say that I might have missed it if the brothers of Iranican from California didn't email me randomly (through another random online connection) and asked me if I'd be interested in being a guest reporter.

Since I'm up for anything random and exciting, I said yes and co-hosted a youth report of the festival to go up on their website. It was my first official reporter job I'd ever done, and I think I manged to do okay. It was loads of fun, free passes to everything! I love the Internet and having a website up.
